    I was wondering, is there anyway to have a "First-person" MOD, only - when out of a vehicle? I do not like to have the first person mod active, when in a vehicle. If there is anyway, please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Yes, you can press v to change camera. 

I think an updated version of the mod is much needed, to at least have an option to turn it off in-game instead of having to uninstall it.

You dont have to be in first person all the time, the first person mod replaces the "hood camera" therefore you can press "V" to change to view back to whatever instead of using first person all the time.
