Diagnostic tool Stopped Working

Featured Replies

For some reason, every time I try to retrieve the .log files from the diagnostic it crashes. The same old " Diagnostic tool has stopped working, windows is looking for a solution".

I have searched multiple forums and cannot seem to find a similar problem or how to fix it. Any ideas?

Thanks,

'retrieve the .log files with the diagnostic'? Mind elaborating - did you mean .ini?

Either way, try to enable Advanced Mode

and select the file you wish to open using the configuration tool. This is, at least in my case, caused by the fact that the configuration software does not take into account that I have GTA IV installed on another drive than C:/, causing it to try to open a file which doesn't exist.

I have enabled advanced mode and still does the same thing. By retrieve I mean extract the files. The same issue has been happening with the game.
