Lag issue

At start of game i am getting 20+ FPS, sometimes hitting the low 40's.  My game settings are low to off.  Once starting LCPDFR, my FPS drop tremendously to 12 to 10 causing a lag.

 

Laptop specs:

HP PAVILION 

Windows 8

AMD A8-4500M APU with RADEON HD GRAPHICS 1.90 GHz

6.00 GB installed memory

64 bit operating system x64 based processor
