Investigative System

Featured Replies

LCPD:FR gives us the ingame experience of being a basic patrol officer within LC who patrols, responds to calls, etc.

Which is great, however- what if there would be an introduction of an investigative system for people who would wish to play the role of a detective or a FIB agent? I am not talking about complex investigations from other games, but basic ones, like arriving at car accidents and questioning witnesses, coming to shootouts where you search a certain area for evidence.

I think this would be a great addition, it gives you the perspective of an officer and a detective which is basically two games in one.

Anyone else, yes?

It can probably be accomplished by the developers since they have gone a long way with 1.0 and it will most likely be expanded upon later however, I don't want to sound like people who have no idea how hard it is to code or how frustrating it can be so, this is only a suggestion from me and if the devs see it fit to use or script that's cool, if not, no problem.

As always I stand by Bravehearts Policing Script and VpCallouts. Even though the API isn't incorporated, there are mass shooting calls (for SWAT) and with on you the scripts there is an attempted kidnapping which would be what the FIB would do. In terms of detectives I would recommend the callout extensions to the LCPDFR 1.0 API, and Bravehearts Policing Scipt and VpCallouts. Bravehearts has an MVA/RTA, when you get on scene usually one victim is dead and the other probably caused the accident. In the callout extensions to the API there is an MVA where you can question witnesses. I hope this helps. Also, if you download Abraxxas Police Helper you can collect evidence. There is also downloads to call for a coroner, towtruck, and many others. Ambulance and FDLC also drive better when called from PoliceHelper
