does any 1 have an lcpd Taurus, ldpd impala, new swat trucks and a taser? like a legit gun tht looks like a taser i know pressing t is a taser but i wanna accually have a gun. and is there a way to change the car names?

You can change the car names by editing the vehicles.ide file..!!!

For example:

cavalcade, cavalcade, car, CAVCADE, CAVCADE, VEH@VAN, NULL, 100, 999, 0.3248, 0.3248, 0, 3, 1.5 ,0, ext_gang

But i have installed the Cadillac Escalade car mod so I can change the ingame name to Escalade by the changing the Game Name field

seems easy enough so if i wanted to chance the noose patriot to LCPD ESU Truck or truck 17 or somethin waht do i put?

Ok i suppose it didnt work out for me when I tried to change the Police to Police Cruiser because of the spacing..!!!

So then the most apt method is to edit the gxt file in commontext folder of GTA IV..!!!

I recommend using GTAIV Vehicle Mod Installer.Makes it so easy for me.Get it here:

It auto detects files you want to install icluding handling,carcols,vehicles,handling lines,etc. Works like a charm for me.

the thing is a bunch of the car mods have their own vehicle file so how would tht work? and ill think bout it im fine now tho

For most of the straight forward downloads,it works like a magic wand.I don't think anyone will be against this great application.
