South korean Ferry

Featured Replies

As you all know on april 16th a south korean ferry carrying more 300 passangers sank off the southwest coast, right recuse operations are underway as of right now a total of 156 passangers have been found dead and the recuse effort is still ongoing, as far as the captin of the ship goes

At this point, news reports about the behavior and competence of the captain, Lee Joon-seok, and the crew are disturbing, to say the least. Survivor accounts suggest -- among other things -- mixed orders, a serious lack of safety drills and training, and a captain who may have abandoned ship before his responsibility to those entrusted to his care was met. what do you guys think? http://www.cnn.com/2014/04/21/opinion/loy-ferry-captain/

Yeah, I heard about this. The captain and some of his crew are fucking cowardly human beings. The captain told all of these kids to stay where they were. moments later, he abandoned ship leaving all of these kids to die. If he had stayed, and given instructions to these passengers, he could of easily saved hundreds of lives. but, he didn't. He abandoned a ship full of kids and let them die.

If i had it my way, I would break both of his arms, both of his legs, and leave him in the middle of the ocean to die.

But, I don't.

It was horrendous and my prayers are with all those involved, but you shouldn't jump to conclusions, although I agree as Captain he is ultimately in charge of everyone else's safety and him and his crew should have evacuated other passengers before leaving themselves.

But we can all be clever with hindsight.
