Extracting Textures?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I want to extract the textures of a "clean" car , i mean without textures: for example, when i open Spark IV and i go to a police car, there are .png files like "paintjob" that you can edit. Well i want to edit textures of a car that i recently downloaded to put some stickers in it or something, but there is no .png for this.

How can i do this?

Thanks!

Sorry, I misread your question, it is most likely not UV mapped, it's still possible to add stickers, but it's harder. BTW what do you mean by stickers? Badge? Unit numbers?

right. i want to make an "unmarked" police car. I mean with no sirens or anything. just a police inscription (for example)

So you're making a model? Most models come with a template and already come UV mapped so you can edit them. Can you link the car that you downloaded?
