LCPD:FR O.95RC Arrests

Featured Replies

Hi. I have version 0.95RC of LCPD:FR with about 15-20 different car mods. I don't know what's wrong, but when I press "E" while aiming at someone, it doesn't let me arrest them. I've also tried ALT-E and CTRL-E but it doesn't work. I've tried it while aiming the baton and gun. Any help?

have you entered a police station and gone on duty before trying to arrest ?

Is that the only function not working ?

Have you read the stickies in support ? In particular the section pinned " Need support ? read this first. by Sam"

nvm the 3rd question I know the answer too.

Do you have your muse on tangeld ? go to options, and kontroll. and if you mouse option not are at tangel, do that and try agen

I do believe that the there is an issue regarding the arrest function not being very responsive. I seem to have it as well to a lighter extent. Have you tried to spam the E key just to see what happens? Usually in cases where I don't pull out the gun, it ends up showing up eventually. In cases where I do though, it does happen after 2 or 3 times if not instantly.

There is a confirmed issue with the "E" button arrest, if you are using "TOGGLE" RMB (right mouse button) to aim. Simply switch this to "HOLD" RMB to aim (in Control options), and you should be able to perform arrests. This will be fixed in a later version.

Good to know, that could be the answer to his problem seeing as it's the only issue he is having.

First of all, I didn't know this, but it seems you guys don't use X-Box Controllers? I do, and that's what I use to aim. I think Leonov is right, I have three arrests, so it might be that button has to be pressed a few times (I DO mean that there might be an issue). So I'll try that, and I'll try Mage25's solution.

Ah, you use a controller. Yep there lies the problem most likely. There is a post somewhere, give me a min I will try to find it for you.

Erm, I can't seem to find it. Mainly cause I never took much notice of the post when it came out as I don't use a controller.

I'm sure someone will direct you to it or let you know what you need to do now we know your using a controller.
