i have been playing lcpdfr 1.0b and i think iv found a solution to all the crashes get in game(as in just started the game and loaded) in and alt -p as you normally do but don't go to the station i force duty by entering ForceDuty in the console(this key ~ ) and you should get cop clothes and all the functions (i don't have any car mods or any other mods except lcdpfr mod and i'm playing as long as i want without crashes or faults if this helped comment :)

Well, you have a good point, but the thing is people want modded police cars so they can use ELS, if you can get LCPD: FR 1.0 with ELS 8 some modded police cars and maybe even the police helper all to work without crashing then we have something.

I use .95, Braveheart, Policehelper, modded cars (w/ELS v8), spotlight, and an ENB. And my game is fairly stable. I can last anywhere from 20 mins - 1 hr. Using .95 I have found that forcing duty is not only a lot less time consuming, but also offers additional stability.
