[TMN] LCPD Skins for Lt. Caine's ELS Modified Defaults Pack 2 (ELS) R01

Recommended Posts

Hello all!!

I am pleased to present my new LCPD Skins for Lt. Caine's ELS Modified Defaults Pack 2 (ELS) R01! This is my first mod for GTA IV, but I'm a long time modder of other games. While Lt. Caine's ELS Modded Defaults are AWESOME and virtually flawless, I got tired of the old Liberty Police skins after a while. I looked around and noticed there are not too many skins for this Mod set. So my answer is this, some nice LCPD skins, plenty of variations, and about 3 days worth of work in them! There are 14 skins overall, 4 for the VPINT, 4 for the PNCL, 4 for the VPRGR and 2 for the VPCSR, each skin is unique! Plenty to look at! This pack includes Traffic Enforcement, Patrol, Gang Enforcement Unit, SWAT, Campus Police, Narcotics Division skins and more! White, Blue / White and Black / White paint configs.

Since I'm the coolest, this .ZIP file includes:
.PNG files for each skin, so you can load them individually

.PSD files for each skin, so you can load them into Photoshop and have your way with them. Just don't re-release my work like it's your own. Change it enough where you cant tell or something :-)

.WTD files for those who just want to replace, and play with the new skins!

There is no readme in this pack. I haven't gotten around to writing the whole thing, and I didn't want to just steal one. Install the skins the standard way (Using OpenIV or whatever you use) either replace the whole .WTD or open the .WTD and replace each individual Police_sign_1 image with the .PNG image you want to use. There are a ton of tutorials on this site and all over the internet. It works the same way.

Hope you enjoy!

P.S. -

A) Lt. Caine's Readme provided with this pack gives express permission to modify the models without acquiring permission. I did check first!

B) You will need Lt. Caine's Modified Default Vehicles Pack 2 (ELS) R01, these skins are made for this pack. You can find it on this site.

C) Since you have the .PSD, ignore the above statement (B) if you know how to use photoshop. You will find the .PSD extremely descriptive and easy to use. Move things around. Put them on anything. Anywhere. Have fun!
