the 095rc1 mod does not start

Featured Replies

GTAIVstarts up normallyand the"LaunchGTAIV.exe"does not senderror messages.

At the end of loading the game I try to start the mod by pressing "Alt + P" ... The MOD does not start and gives me the error message on the top left of the screen and says: " Error in script 'CSharp.Engine.Core.'". The only thing that appears again on the radar are the stars that identify the 3 police stations where to get service.

Then I try to make the "Debug" by pressing "CTRL + DEL"... gives me the error message on the top left of the screen and says: " Error in script 'FirstResponse.Main.Start.' ".

I installed the patch1.0.0.7

Removed unnecessary formatting, there is a white theme you know!

Reinstall the mod. Make sure you only have dsound.dll (or xlive, if you so choose) but not both. Sounds like it could be an asi loader problem.

If that doesn't fix it, make sure you run the game as an admin, and the lcpdfr installer as an admin (right click --> run as admin).

Make sure you have the exact versions of C++ and .NET required (here and here).

EDIT: And, please, try to use standard font sizes and colors. Reading some of your post was difficult.

Thanks Sniper.

Hello Iconography, thanks for your answer and sorry for the formatting of the text was readable...I thought...

I tried to do everything that I have mentioned (even though I had already done) but to no avail...When I try to start the mod gives me the same error!

I do not know what to do! If you have any other suggestions would be grateful!

NOTICE:

Do not use white text! There is a white theme that people are using and white text will not show up in a post.

Go to your main GTA IV folder. Find advancedhook.dll and delete it. Also delete dsound.dll or xlive.dll (or both if you find both in there). Then re-install the mod, remembering to right click the installer and select run as admin. Your asi loader does not appear to be working at all. When you install the mod, make sure to select ONLY one asi loader (EITHER dsound or Xlive, not both). It says you are using xlive, so you can stick with xlive if you so desire.

You ran through everything here, correct?

Make sure that:

  • You run the LCPDFR installer as an admin
  • Your GTA IV folder is NOT read only. Also make sure your asi loader (dsound or xlive) is not read only. Make sure you have only one of them.
  • GTA IV is set to run as admin (right click on launchgta.exe, hit properties, then go to compatibility and select always run as admin)
  • Ensure you have C++ and .NET (linked before)

If those have been followed exactly I'll need to think about this one.

Look... I thank you for your attention! I can assure you that I have tried several times to follow step by step every point of your suggestions but to no avail...

The only thing I can tell you is that I tried the installation process several times OR just with "dsound.dll" OR just with "xlive.dll".

GTA (so only the game simple - do not mean the mod) worked properly with the "xlive.dll" while I was creating problems with the "dsound.dll"...like I loaded a saved game and I started a new.

However, I thank you (again) for your attention and should you have other suggestions for me I would be grateful to you!

One of the developers will have to help then... I don't know why it isn't working for you. Sorry

EDIT: With regards to starting anew with xlive installed, your savegame folder gets moved to [your documents folder]Rockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames

Copy your old savegames into that folder if you want to use xlive and keep your savegames. Original savegame files are in C:UsersYOUR NAMEAppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames (is a hidden folder)
