[Bug] Crash on Traffic Stop

Featured Replies

Hi all, so I've looked in the forums and I haven't seen this problem posted yet.  Maybe I'm the only one who experiences it.

[The Problem]

The game crashes when I aim at someone and order them out of their vehicle by pressing "E" during a traffic stop.

[steps to Replicate]

1) Initiate traffic stop (in this instance it was drunk/reckless driving)

2) Order suspect out of vehicle using traffic stop menu

3) Order suspect to stop by pressing "E"

4) Initiate Arrest by pressing "E"

5) Do not put the suspect in cuffs

6) Aim at a new driver

7) Order them out of the vehicle by pressing "E"

8) Game crashes

[Additional Info]

I ordered the second driver out because he hit me and was about to drive away, so I couldn't wait to put the first suspect in cuffs.  Sometimes this happens even when I am not in a traffic stop, but most of the time it is during a stop.

I am using a brand new, clean GTA4 game with only LCPDFR and the 1.0a hotfix installed.

All 3 logs should be attached.

Thank you for your time!

Hi :) This is a known bug for several users and not much to do about it at the moment.

Ah, okay thanks.  I'm still pretty new at using these forums so I guess I just missed the other posts.  Thanks for your time though.
