I downloaded  something for gta iv, called "HD ROADS" it told me to:

1.Open - Program Files (86) 
2.Open - Rockstar Games
3.Open - Grand Theft Auto IV
4.Open - pc
5.Open - data
6.Open - cdimages
7.And Paste (gtxd) file!
And that Is it! Enjoy now!

 

Ive done that and when i load up the game it spawns me in my house then says "GTA IV has stopped working" it was fine till i dont that stupid HD ROADS how do i fix it?

Are you running the game as administrator? Legal copy of the game? Also, can you live without that mod?

Yes i am,I brought the game yesterday and yes i can live without it

Alright, so then it is a easy fix: Just copy over the backup you made previous to installing the mod.

Wait dw ive fixed it it lets me play the game,If i want to take of the HD ROADS and go back to the normal road how do i do that? i dont think i make a backup

It says to make backups in almost every readme. The only way to get them back is to 1. Use the backups or 2. Reinstall the game.

This is going to sound really dumb but how do i make a copy of it? do i just right click then copy?

Oh ok,Ill make sure to do that........One more thing i dont know what LCPDFR to get 0.95 or 1.0a i dont want it to be really buggy but i want all the new features what do you think i should download?

If you want the new features you should use 1.0. It's the most stable version.
