I have bought Gta 4, and used lcpdfr 0.95 for a while now.  But since 1.0 has come out i can't play.  Let me explain, the only way i know of for me to be able to play gta without getting the ws10 error or any other error is using the 1911 crack.  When i try and LCPDFR 1.0 it says please buy the game, which i have done.  

 

Does anyone know any other way to play the game without the 1911 crack so i don't get the ws10 error or anything of the sort.

Hello. Cracks aren't supported. WS10 is related to GFWL, and when using a crack you are bypassing GFWL.

Okay, so do you know how to fix it without using a crack?

Reinstall the game and remove the crack. Then I'll see what I can do :)

Fatal error: WS10

Then I am out of ideas, WS10 is supposed to be fixed with the GFWL update. Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.

 

Try it now. 

It's still giving me the WS10 error.

Okay, i added two xlive files, xlive.dll and xlive_d.dll

The error is gone, but now when i try and play the disc on the curser turns for a few seconds then a consle pops up (blank) and goes away; then the game doesn't launch.

Disregard that, it is kinda working, it just is taking forever to load when it is at the screenshots of the characters.

I'll confirm that it works, after i am able to play.

Ok well now when i try to play, the game starts but it just loads and loads and loads and doesn't actually start the first mission.  It is stuck cycling through all of the artwork.

I have let it cycle for hours and nothing.  Any idea why?

No, i haven't installed any mods, i can't even get in the game to play "The Cousins Bellic" and drive to the apartment.

Try to remove the saves anyway. The save files are located in 2 different places.
