Prerequisites Install Error

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am having a problem with the prerequisites installer. It is trying to get me to install 'Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable x64'. When I try, the installer errors, saying 'This setup program requires an x64 platform. It cannot be installed on this platform.'

I cannot carry on with installing LCPDFR without fixing this it seems.

Does anybody know how/have any ideas on how to rectify this?

Thanks.

Use the manual installation and install the x86 (which is 32bit) redists. You need both:

2010: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555

2012: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679

Thanks for your help!

Sorry, I did have a look at the first page of both support forums, but I didn't use the search feature. I will keep this in mind if I need to post again!

Thanks again.
