ScriptHookDotNet

Featured Replies

HEY i am new to the community and do not have so much knowledge about the game can any1 tell me where ScriptHookDotNet.asi has to be placed..i experience a lot of crashes in the game lcpdfr 1.0 manual install with hotfix the intresting part is the game doesnt crash but only the script mods like police helper, vpcallouts they tend to crash a lot so can anyone help me

These files should be put in your GTA IV root folder

ScriptHook.dll
ScriptHookDotNet.asi

That's Rockstar GamesGTAIV

Also, several users have reported issues with the police helper, because of some incompatibility with LCPDFR. You can, however, edit the following lines in the vdH_PoliceHelper.ini

[ EVENTS ]

TrafficEventsTimeout = 90
// Set timeout for creating traffic events (speeders will be created 2x more often).
// Set it to 0 to turn off traffic events.

WorldEventsTimeout = 210
// Set timeout for creating world events. Set it to 0 to turn off world events.

EnableOtherEvents = True
// Enable casual events like tourists asking for directions etc.

That may solve some crashes. Just set them to "0" and "False" (for the last value).

I use only 4 scripts but still the game doesnt crash only two of the scripts crash which are towservice and vpcallouts

I haven't used that script, so I wouldn't know really. My experience is this though: More scripts = More crashes.
