How To Install GTA IV Save Games Without Xliveless?

Featured Replies

Is there any way to install a save game without using Xliveless? I want to have a 100% game without redoing the story line cause i did it on Xbox already. I Also don't want to install it using xliveless cause it will remove my GFWL services and i have a friend who just recently got the game and we have been playing multiplayer.

All the tutorials online say to use Xliveless but i don't want to. So i found the save games for the CD copy here is the path:
C:Users(My Name)AppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegamesuser_e0003cbbec985dd8

I tried putting the savegame there but when i load the save i get an error saying something like "Load Failed, Check the save on hard disk"

I really wan't a save game so i don't have to unlock the map in trainer then teleport to the police station on another island but if i have to then i have to.

Any ideas how i might be able to make it work? You can ask any questions you wish, I will answer them if i can!

As far as I know it is not possible.

LCPDFR automatically unlocks the islands for you, so instead of unlocking the islands with the trainer, just go on duty at the closest police station and then teleport/drive where you want to patrol.
