On April 29th, 2010, Officer Durman was killed in a hit-and-run crash caused by inmate #247444. Instead of rendering life-saving aid or notifying authorities, inmate #247444 fled the scene and left Officer Durman there to die.

Here in Australia (well New South Wales right now, Departments are trying to get this as a law in every state), If you kill a police officer it's a life sentence in prison (i think with no parole)

 

People who kill cops are the scum of the earth, they do an amazing job that hardly any of us can do.
