When I go to a free mode multiplayer whether I start it or someone else creates it, the game allows me into the "world" for about 2 seconds and then it goes to a never ending loading menu.

Could be that your system isn't powerful enough. What kind of mods are you using? What are your specs? 

But I have been able to get online before. I uninstalled the game and re-installed it as well several times before. This is the first time this has occurred.

Anyway, are you using any car mods? Are you using XLIVE? 

I forgot to extract them, I was in a rush to install the game and I am. I am using a clan pack but it works online as I have previously used it before. And I am using the patch 7 update GFWL.

Still, are you using XLIVE.dll . I'm not asking about patches. It's good that you have the latest patch though.
