GTAIV or EFLC (stable or not)

Featured Replies

I hear that EFLC is 5% better then the original GTAIV. EFLC has more vehicles slot and better bikes. Over the past day I'm thinking to move to EFLC as it's more stable (is it more Stable?) and my community is moving to EFLC anyway, so I have no choice. any other good information that I need to know?

-If I do move over to EFLC then I have to uninstall GTAIV

I think R* fixed a few of the bugs that were memory hogs that would steal resources. Then again, it could be a placebo effect. As fir having to uninstall IV to install EFLC is NOT necessary. If you want to place EFLC, install and back up your IV save games. EFLC will play with them in their original location, the issue is when you wish to play IV after playing EFLC. R* coded IV save games to look for the most recent saves and with EFLC installed, IV will say the available downloadable content is unavailable, please start a new game. That is why I recommend to back up your saves. I keep a folder on my desktop with saves so I can easily switch them out depending on the game I wish to play. IV seems to have the most compatibility with mods such as maps, scripts, etc. Eflc has more models and most mods have support for it. I play EFLC the most due to police bike and extra vehicles, but play IV when I want to play around with map mods. I hope this helps.
