When I run GTA4 with xlive.dll the game works with no issues what so ever... but when I take xlive out and only dsound.dll to be able to play online the game won't even fire up... no loading screen or anything... it just comes back with gta4 not responding... or open the system tray and gta4.exe just disappears and never loads..

Taser is installed manually correctly

anyone have ideas?

Logs attached,,,, dont see any issues...

yes it legal through steam, only mods installed at els 7.0 and a couple cars but it did this on a fresh install of the game and manual install of the mod.... i had the same problem with .95 and then somehow it started working.... could it be the dsound.dll file somehow? I have the one from 1/16/13 installed that came with the mod..... very annoying.. because the second i put xlive in it works like a champ

I tried it when I first installed the mod and the dsound wouldnt work, and I have saved on duty when I was using xlive after i got it to work with xlive.dll....

Only reason i did that was because the dsound wouldnt even get the game running... it would go through the social club log on and then just stop working

ever get an issue with the logs not updating each time you try and launch the game?

Script hook refreshes everytime not matter if dsound or xlive is in the folder.....

Well here is the soultion...

If your gta4 game will not load with the dsound.dll only as the asi loader and you get the social club login and then the game does start follow this forum

It is your window live account having something disabled or not up to date. It has nothing to do with LCPDFR mod. It is all about your windows live log in not activating upon start up...

**Moderator** would this be something good to pin?
