LCPDFR 1.0- cant install asi loaders

Featured Replies

Well i installed a fresh copy of gtaiv, then installed 1.0-the auto install. I ran my game and couldnt go on duty. So i did a manual install and added the dsound.dll. Then my game wouldnt even load up. Right after social club login i got (gta has stoped working). Its saying my DEP is causeing the problem. Now i tried this with dsound and xliveless and both give me the same thing. If i run without dsound and xliveless my game works fine, but i can use any mods.

My windows help and support says

Data Execution Prevention (DEP)

DEP can help protect your computer by monitoring your programs to make sure that they use system memory safely. If DEP notices a program on your computer using memory incorrectly, it closes the program and notifies you.

Any Help is GREATLY Appreciated

AdvancedHook.log and AdvancedHookInit.log don't exist

Disable DEP.

Ok so i disabled DEP , but after i sign into social club it says gta iv has stoped working. It doesnt say anything about the DEP closing it anymore. Now i have installed .Netframework 4.5 and C++ Redistributable 2012, and the new updated manual install for 1.0. Now even after all that it still wont work unless i take (dsound.dll out) of my main gta. I just dont understand why i could use dsound.dll before just fine with alot of mods.

And is this for Windows Vista Also

  • Unfortunately, due to Microsoft phasing out .Net Framework support for Windows XP, LCPDFR 1.0 will not run on any version of Windows XP at this time. Please do not make any support topics if you are running Windows XP - we are aware of this problem and, although there is nothing we can do to fix it, are looking into alternative solutions.

Any logs?

Not shure if this is it but these are the only logs in my main directory, the only one missing i think is the LCPDFR.log.

No ScriptHookDotNet log?

Nope i cant even get in game unless i take out dsound.dll. Here is a screen shot of all the files in my gta.

  • Author

Could you please download the attachment and put all Dlls in there into your gta root folder (where the .exe is)?

K and what do you mean where the .exe is?

  • Author

That sir, looks fantastic! Now please tell me it works.

Nope, Right after social club goes away , this pops up. But if i take dsound.dll out, it will launch perfect.

Check your inbox please. You can also try to remove AdvancedHookInit.asi for the time being and install the taser manually: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
