Ok so I am in a GTA IV Police Clan and I installed different ENB's to see what I liked for a video we were making. And all of the sudden my game would crash or give me the blue screen. So I figured it was the ENB so I uninstalled it, still got the same thing. So I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I'm yet to get the blue screen but it still crashes. So any ideas?

CPU: AMD FX-8150 @ 3.6-4.2

RAM: 16GB 1333MHz

GPU: Asus Radeon HD 7870 2GB

Monitor: Asus 24in VN247H

Is it a legal copy of the game? Steam/Retail? Are you running the game as administrator? Using the latest patch? What mods are you using? List them please. Could you run the diag tool ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>) and post the generated log here?

 

Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.

Also, download and extract Scripthook.dll and ScripthookDotNet.asi files to your GTA IV directory. (http://www.hazardx.com/details.php?file=83)

Yes it is a legal copy, bought the disk while at walmart a while back. I figured out my issues. I somehow managed to change the settings in the GPU Tweak program from Asus lol.
