December 27, 201312 yr Hey guys, what do you think of this computer I'm going to build (second build by myself). Pretty set on intel over AMD, but any other suggestions of things I'll look at. I got a pretty good budget as you can tell. CPU: Intel 3930K hex core I believe running at 3.2Ghz (overclockable to 5 from what I've been reading) Liquid cooled by a Corsair hydro H100i Mobo: Asus p9X79 (LGA 2011) Case: Corsair Carbike 400R Mid tower SSD: Corsair neutron 240gb (I'll run windows 7 on here, and other stuff) HDD: Seagate hybrid (like a SSHD i guess, read its about 2-3 times faster than a regualr HDD) 1Tb (I'll throw steam games on here) Video Card: EVGA GTX 760 2gb PS: Rosewill Lightning 800W Modular RAM: Gskil Sniper 16Gb (i forget the speed, i believe its 2133) What do you guys think, the whole thing will be a little under 2 grand. I', still debating on dropping down to a Ivy bridge i7 (quad core) over the hex, and save about $200 but idk, go big or go home.
