It's a little buggy that function, best to avoid it on some systems. Legal copy of the game?

Thanks for the fast reply!

Yep it's the retail version.

In which kind of systems is best to avoid?

Oh I was forgetting: I was not in pursuit.

If you spend some time on here, you'll learn I am everywhere in an instant :p

Good btw :)

That script is causing issues on some system since it's in beta (I believe). Are you running the game as administrator?

Ahahahah!

Btw yes i run the game as admin and i've disabled the uac.

Does it crash immediatly when using that kind of backup?

Yes instantly to desktop. Really i never use this backup but i have perfomed a mistake configuring the .ini of the policing script, i have assigned Alt+V to a function of this script...

  • Author

Then that may be your issue. Did you make backups? If so, revert the changes to default. If no: Redownload and reinstall LCPDFR

Yep all backups are maked! I'll revert every changes! Thank a lot man!!

Not so fast, we want to make sure it works before a closure is proper ;)

I've tried a while and seems work but i get a problem.:) But when i recive callouts like shots fired or gang activities there arent police car on scene, i only see cop coming from the sky.. What happened?!

I actually haven't heard of that glitch before. Does it happen every time?

Oh jesus really you reply so fast! xD Btw yes every time. I don't know if is an els 7 bug or maybe my enb..

It could be that your game doesn't load the world models fast enough. Could you try creating a file called "commandline.txt" in your GTA IV directory and enter the following lines:

-novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -novsync -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict
If that doesn't work, use this instead (replace all contents with this).

-renderquality 0 -shadowdensity 0 -texturequality 0 -viewdistance 0 -detailquality 0 -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -minspecaudio -novsync -renderquality 0 -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict

This is my commandline.txt

-availablevidmem 2.0
-norestrictions
-nomemrestrict
-novblank
-frameLimit 0

I've tried your second commandline only and seems to resolve the problem. But it looks very bad.

Can you help me to configure a commandline for my pc?

GPU: Amd Radeon HD 7970 3gb

HDD: 1 Tb WD Caviar Black

It's the point of the last one, it forces the game to minimum settings. I would suggest removing your ENB and see if the issue still persists. If yes: Remove the added cars and replace them with less-polygon heavy models.

I use already low-poly models, i see the problems only in the callout for a shotout in south-bohan. I've tried various shotout's call in the map and they work fine. Ex In westdyke.

  • Author

Does your issue still persist if removing the ENB and responding to such a call?

Yes with or without enb the issues persist

I would suggest reinstalling LCPDFR, or if that does not work: Reinstall GTA IV and try the mods one by one (starting the game with just LCPDFR, check, install another mod, check and so on...).

Because of christmas I won't be able to reply for a while, good luck and merry christmas to you :)
