Car Modifications not actually installing?

Featured Replies

So, I'm not new to the internet and I have done a lot of research about my issue and I am still suffering this rather annoying and tedious problem. I've recently got back into LCPDFR on the EFLC DLC as it's less laggy on my computer   - however, I have been unable to install any kind of modification into the cdimage files; I have tried installing weapon mods, car mods & ped mods, none of which worked. I'm always running SparkIV as an administrator and the problem seems to persist. I've also used MobileD2's Vehicle Mod Installer and it says that the modification has installed itself and everything was successful - but it wasn't?!

I'm also wondering about if it's to do with the fact that my GTA IV will not launch, would it be stupid of me to think that it's an issue with that not being able to launch/the files being corrupt? To be honest, after reading that sentence back to myself it does seem that I have been a little stupid, perhaps. I'm not entirely sure and I don't wish to sit there for like 30 minutes restoring the GTA IV directory in order to fix it.

Any help is appreciated.

(Not actually my house)

OT: Yes, I do save & rebuild when using SparkIV and it doesn't make a difference; I also don't believe it's the program I am using to install the mod's fault as I have used two of them and they're both behaving in the same way!
