Audio bug

Recommended Posts

Whenever I run the game it starts fine, I go through the first cut scene and then I activate the mod. Everything works fine until I start playing. The second I start playing the audio goes hay-wire. The gun shots are very quiet if they can be heard, and the sound is delayed from the action of the shot, car horns are on constantly and every single car no matter if its driving, stopped, parked or off all have their tires screeching. Everything else works fine. My computer can definatly run the game graphics and RAM etc wise, but is there some audio setting/update/download I'm missing? I've done all the troubleshooting listed under "Read this first" And yes, I am playing 9.1.

After further playing I've noticed that sounds appear to get stuck since all sounds kind of get looped and just constantly go on, I'm going to try reinstalling NET and the other thing then rebooting my computer.

wait you said " I go through the first cut scene" does this mean your trying to play lcpd:fr after the start of a new game without finishing the cousins bellic missions? if so uninstall lcpd:fr and finish 2-3 missions in-game save it then try again

Update your Sound Card drivers.

Or try a re-install of GTA IV if that doesn't work
