i was just thinking about how people modify the engine sounds. yet the idling sound is weak and unrealistic, if someone could figure out how to alter it, then add a fan, sound and real engine sound to the game would be amazing.

I have no idea how to do it myself, but I know it involves editing the STREAMED_VEHICLES.rpf and ENGINE_RESIDENT files. Possibly more files too.

imagine standing outside the front grill of your cvpi and have that roaring engine sound with the fan from the radiotar on high idle ...
