Gta Eflc: Dsound.dll Error

Featured Replies

hi

I run my GTA on my WINGOWS 8 Laptop. I have updated my GTA to v1.1.2 (it worked) and then I installed the 095RC2R2 (it worked).

I then installed ELS 7 (it worked) and then I installed the simple native trainer (it worked). I installed a ELC Police car (it worked), when I wanted to play GTA the following day I got the following error (Exception EFCreateError in module DSOUND.dll at 000116c5. Cannot create file "C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesEFLCasilog.txt". Access is denied.). I have tried reinstalling all the above mentioned (I got the same error), removed the 095RC2R2 files and removed the ELS 7 and police car (when I removed 095RC2R2 the game worked, but the ELS and script mods did not). I run the same mods and scripts on my windows 7 pc and I do not get this error, but my game lag's and crashes after 2 hours of playing. So I tried copying the directory to my brothers pc and it does the same as my pc, so I thought if I copy the directory to my laptop maybe it will solve the problem, but I still got the error message. me and my brothers (we are 3 brothers) LANed  it be fore I have installed 095RC2R2 and ELS 7 and script mods. Could anyone help me solve these problems?

Type "UAC" in the StartTile (StartMenu). Click on User Account Control settings. Pull the “slider” all the way down and accept the changes. A reboot may be required in some rare cases.

/////////////////// Found this on Google. Try to search on Google before you post a topic :) Somewhere in there should be a solution for you. Also try taking the Paul.dll out of the directory (this will cause Rockstar Club not to open). That is what really helped me.

Hope I helped,
