I bought GTA IV game box years ago.. Now I know about this LCPD First Response mod and really want to try it.

Installed GTA IV normally.. 1.0.7 patch, and got it running well.. 1280x720 60hz low low low low low everything.
My pc2 Specs are Athlon Dual core 7750 2,71 Ghz, 4gb 800mhz, and 9500gt, W7 64bits

 

I downloaded the mod and go to installation. My pc was completelly restarted to get new games.

So I gotta download all C++ and framework stuff.. OK installed the mod

 

Got it service pack 3 Win XP compatibility, and running always as administrator.

Ok RGSC run, skip login, PLAY ok.... Menu, START...

Pictures showing normal... 3 or 4 maybe... then goes to black screen, and shows "LOADING..."

 

67 days loading and nothing! lol joke... but If I let go it would reach that.

 

I tried some command line... but nothing worked yet

 

Can someone help me please ?

Have you played GTA IV prior to installing the mod? If so, remove your save games from here: 

X:Users%username%AppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames

Well I did play before... actually to test pc performance at GTA and configure best settings.

Then I went to Nico's bed. Saved in 1st slot aswell.

 

I didnt find this directory you said... Users.. my user name... but no APP DATA or something.. 

I have Users, my user name.. docs... Rockstar Games .. GTA IV ...  User Music <<

I will search for 1.0.7 and try again..

No you gotta (Hold) Windows Button+R to opne the Run app. -> then type in %appdata% -> then you'll be in Roaming folder, go back with the path you can see on the top -> click on AppData in your path -> you'll see three folders local; locallow; and roaming you were in at the beginning -> click on Local (NOT Low) then scroll down to Rockstar Games open it -> open GTA IV -> and you'll see a savegames folder and there you go ;)

 

If you have deleted your savegames and it has still the shitty loadingscreen that wont end, do the same but go in the Settings Folder instead of savegames and deleted the settings file.

Well thanks for that..

But I reinstalled the game, and notice that patch 1.0.7 hasnt RGSC anymore..

And I didnt even put serial key into it... just playing offline for now... until I get LCPD FR runnig

 

Im doing it right now.. so

Game is running... I enteded the game, configured it to low sttings

and started... I hear the Cousing screaming with the bitch and ALT F4 then.

Well... it doesnt asked me for serial..

I didnt open the game anytime before install the patch..

I unninstalled Gfwl and marketplace....

Well.... anyway... I got the game running with Xliveless.

 

So... I have one more problem...

 

I activated the mod.. by Ctrl Alt P

 

OK, forced duty

 

I went to a police station, and always get the object reference error

 

Object reference not set to an instance of object... or stuff...

 

Anyone there ?

Glad to hear it's working that far. You should press LeftAlt+P to go to the station, not LeftCtrl+P. That will only force duty and will not make it possible for you to change ped model and/or car.

Well... I got it. Thanks anyway!

I said in a vid... and I dont understand english very well.. So I was confused about Ctrl alt P and stuff..

Just used normal Alt P and it works perfectly!

 

I will try to install some police car mods... and other mods to increase fun in game..

By the way... the loading screen forever... Was about the save game!

 

Could be fix with complete reinstall, or deletting savegame like its been said in this topic
