Hello, I am getting this error:

 

"GTA IV FATAL ERROR: ZLIB20

GTA IV FATAL ERROR: Invalid resource detected - Please re-install the game.

-5"

 

I get this when I spawn modded cars that I have installed. When I replace these cars with the original GTA IV cars from my back-up files I do not get this error. What should I do?

I was hoping you would not say that. ZLIB is a program used by Rockstar to decompress data from a disc to the harddrive, which point to that the disc is damaged. But since it does work when you are using vanilla cars, it speaks against that theory. 

 

Could you post the links to the cars you are using + a list of computer specs for good measure? :)

All that cars that my clan use are from the Ultimate Metropolitan Police Pack from Double Doppler : '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

My PC Specs are:

Processor: AMD A8-5500 3.2 GHz - 4mb cache

OS: Windows 8

RAM: 4GB DDR3 (1 x 4GB)

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 (1GB Dedicated)

Optical Disk Drive: 1TB

SparkIV, It has worked perfectly with all other cars previously.

Can you try and using OpenIV instead? OpenIV is generally better than Sparkie!

I have looked at OpenIV and I can only find a 1.5 version and i would need 1.0.7.0 would I not?

1.5 is the version of OpenIV and 1.0.7.0. is the version of GTA IV. They have nothing to do with eachother in that aspect. That version will do fine. (Link: http://openiv.com/WebIV/guest.php?get=1).
