Crashing after 15-30 minutes.

My game crashes always after 15-30 mins. Only mods i got are 5 car mods (PD), ELS V6 and Taxi Fix (Plus LCPD FR ofc). And yes, i have tested with 0.95B. 0.91 OR 0.95 did NOT help, with BOTH versions, same result.

So could it be because of the Taxi Fix .dll? Should i try another? Give me a link to working one?

Ps. The name of the Taxi Bug fix is Real Car Spawning 1.02.

ELS + Cars is the cause, use ELSv5 and only mod a few cars that doesn't spawn as much.

Well is LCPD Cruiser and Patrol cars spawning too often? Of should i just not use any ELS? :/

Ok, didn't help at all. Well a bit, only crashing when too many police cars coming by with code 3 (4 cars plus mine O.o)

ELS is unstable and fucks up the whole game. Don't use it at all.

Real traffic spawn 1.02 and other traffic spawners consume a very large amount of RAM. What are your specs?

I would advise to use trafficflow instead and report back if you still have any issues.

I switched from els 6 to els 5 and it seems to be alot more stable then it was

Yep it is more stabled with V5. And i saw that when a SWAT Van comes in, it crashes too. I'll put in an ELS carmod for them too and report again.

Sorry for double post again, but can't edit.

Now, TrafficFlow crashed my ASI loader (xliveless). So it ain't working with that.

Edit: I can now edit, but can't refresh the page or i can't edit. O.o

Three-post -_- fix the editing bug.

So now i tried with dsound.dll and xliveless.dll. It worked! But now, it's crashing again when calling backup -.-

Any good suggestions? I don't want to play with only Taxi's, but i want some realism with ELS :/

I also use ELS. However, I only use ELS on a few cars and try to leave the others non-ELS.

For example, make police.wtd ELS and police2.wtd non-ELS.

Btw, make sure to try to disable the AI using ELS.

It looks so motherfakin stupid if no-one else except me isn't using ELS -.- So it's most un-realistic.

But i tried without ELS at all also, didn't work. Crach when calling PURSUIT backup, normal on-foot backup (ALT+B) works without any probs, with anything. :/

Btw I didn't have any Taxi Bug fixers also when i tried without the ELS. I got only a "fresh" installition of GTA IV 1.0.7.0 and LCPD FR :/

To answer your realism remark: the fact that I use ELS on only one of the police cruisers means that I have a good chance that a non-ELS car spawns as my backup with lights and siren. Indeed, sometimes Ido have the ELS car that spawns without ELS since I turned of AI ELS. However, I rather have that than having AI ELS turned on and having random crashes.

So you tried to use LCPDFR without ELS, car mods and taxi fixes and still had crashes?

Yep, tried without Taxi Bug fixes, ELS or car mods. Only LCPD FR and other "mods" which are only edited config files of the game (doesn't do anything to cars etc.) Still same result. It was working way back there :/

If you followed the instructions in http://www.lcpdfr.com/cops/forum/index.php/forum-20/announcement-5-need-support-read-this-first/, use no car mods, ELS or traffic fixes you should have no problems.

Try to make sure that the mod is working properly on the vanilla version of GTA IV and then you can try car mods and ELS.

Also, please post your system specs as this could be the problem as well. There's enough people like Iconography and Unr3al on the forums who know a lot more about hardware than me. They'll tell you if your system is causing any problems.

I'll try now with using a backup of a visualSettings.dat (Something like that), forgot it as it came with ELS.

Edit: My system has ran GTA IV normally with like 30-40 FPS always -.- For now 1,5y or so lol. ATI Radeon HD 6950, and Intel Core Quad 2, ASUS motherboard as always. They rock together :)
