I have download a couple of police cars from this webside, and I have installed them by following the right description, but when I start up the game and come to the spot where I shall choose a car, there is only the standards and maybe one or two of the cars I have installed, and if I choose the car I have installed, then I cannot turn the lights on but the siren works. 

 

So I want to know how can I choose between all the cars I have installed and how can I make the lights work on them?

Could the reason be that I have installed a wrong type of car?

I have heard that as long it has ELS it should work, or have I miss something there?

Hello! Make sure that you are actually using the ELS mod ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>). Which software do you use for installing the cars? Make sure that you are running the game as administrator by going to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', also do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe. 

Also, post a G17 media diag tool log ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>) to make sure you are not missing any files. 

 

Another question: Is it a legal copy of the game?

yes, it is a legal copy.

and I  use "spark IV" 

I run the game as administrator

and what folder should I put the G17 media diag tool

You should run it and post the log here for us to view.

Reinstall the car mods with OpenIV instead (http://openiv.com/WebIV/guest.php?get=1) also, download this (http://www.hazardx.com/details.php?file=83) and put it in the GTA IV directory, overwriting any files.

I got a last question, how can I turn the siren on in ELS V7, without holding the key down all the time, it does not work with "H" as it says, it will only turn on the headlights.
