when taking xlive.dll when game load it crashes

You cannot use xlive and play online.

Instead, use dsound.dll to run mods and play online.

 

If dsound does not work, then you are out of luck and must use xlive. Which means no MP. 

I personally have never had an issue with dsound and never had to use xlive.
