Hello.

So I installed the programs in the order above, in the title.

I installed an ELS vehicle too, but if I press J,K, L or U, I, O, nothing happens.

 

What should I do to be able to use the lightbar.

I heard some time ago that you have to configure a file because of the mod first.. is that true?

 

Or, it may be because I replaced the Scripthood and dsound so the native trainer could work? ( native trainer doesn't work with GTA IV from steam if not replaced the dsound.. saw a tutorial and it worked after replaced it. )

 

So? Please, help me!

Make sure you put the ASI INI and the ELS folder in your main directory 

go into the INI and configure what cars you want on and off 

ELS has to have a separate folder?

And I have to change the default_confing into something?

 

It is ON for all the vehicles..but it doesn't work

Yes.. still doesn't work :(

How to configure the ELS.ini? I set all the vehicles to on, should I do sth else?

So you have the ELS folder in the directory, along with Els.asi and Els.ini in the main folder of your game.

Even if you have all your vehicles turned on, you have to go into the ELS folder and make the .ini for all the police cars, firetrucks, etc.

 

For example,

[ POLICE ]

Status = on

File = default_config 

 

On the default config line, change it so something like police_1. Then go into the ELS folder and copy the default_config.ini inside the folder, paste it inside the folder, and rename it to "police_1", or whatever you decided the name shall be.

You can then edit the way you want your lights to flash and the colors yatta yatta yatta.

hey i got the same problem i just downloaded a trainer and installed it but now my els light does not work you know the  l k j h it's only t i can press and then the siren comes but only if i hold it in and i don't really know what theninja35 mean by what he is saying hoping some one can help me 

and sorry for my bad english :) 

oh and all the cars are on for me to
