issue with windows 8

i have an HP Envy M6 with intel core 2.6 ghz with 8gb ram running windows 8 64 bit. when i try to install gta i get an error msg saying my computer isnt compatible. i have read over the other windows 8 threads and tried a bunch of different things. any ideas?

Please post your full system specs. Also, please note that laptops and GTA IV is not a good match.

intel core i5-3230m cpu 2.60ghz

8 gb ram 

win 8 64 bit

intel HD graphics 4000 1664 mb

 

Isn't that an intergrated card? If so, that may be the issue. GTA IV is a very demanding game, even for a desktop gaming pc.

yes i believe it is. ive had the game install before and startup but never was able to get to play it. 

 

Well, I think you are out of luck then. I would recommend buying a new computer.
