GTA IV - LCPDFR Multiplayer crashes

Featured Replies

Hi all!

So my problem is that im playing with my friend LCPDFR in multiplayer, were good about 10min but after that one of our games will crash, we have putted exactly same cars, script mods, handling lines etc etc. And all we have is about 4 new cars ingame and about 6scripts. I have about mid-end computer and my friend has high-end computer, so what could be the problem?? I have checked some videos from YouTube ppl playing multiplayer in GTA IV and it doesnt seem to crash with them, even that they have more people in the server than we do.

Help is appriciated!

The scripts most likely. The scripts must be optimised as much as possible for the multiplayer environment. Many scripts are not. My advice would be to check your "reliability monitor" and see why GTAIV crashed.

If it shows "GTAIV.exe" then to my understanding this is due to data files (e.g. models, vehicles, common/data and .asi mods)

If it shows "ScriptHook.dll" then again to my understanding a script caused the game to crash.

Also check your  "ScriptHookDotNet.txt" file for any script errors prior to the game crash.

Also be advised that you cannot, in a modded multiplayer game, climb on any object, jump or get hit by/hit other players with vehicles as all of the above has a high tendency to crash either you or someone else.

Alright mate, thanks for respond! We did clean install of the game with my friend and will be using for now only default cars and 2scripts, if it wents fine like that we might add littlebit something new and see what happens.
