of course i dont release LCG carpack. But further i planned to release everything.

know your fellow skinners see what they have done and make something new but not over the top

I would suggest you not do clan skins. It really takes the fun out of skinning, in my opinion. Just a bunch of skin transferring and all these random units. If you're into that stuff instead of creating them, then you might be better off there. I for one, hate clan skins. The boredom in doing them makes them almost impossible for me to complete. Also, if the clan doesn't like them, you could get a lot of hate.

 

I would also suggest when working with 'clients' try not to ask for everything. Ask them what models they need it for, and that's it. Try to find your own decal to replicate. Sometimes the client may choose a skin that is totally out of your skill set, or is just completely ugly, and not worth recreating. Try to do your own things.

Yeah I got a tip.. Don't use paint LOL PM if you need any help or have any questions.

 

I also will suggest to everyone to not take requests until you are truly confident in your skills as a graphic designer. Probably the most embarking thing you can do as a graphic designer is say you're not good enough. I find however that taking requests can sometimes take out the fun in skinning. What really drew me into it was the freedom of being able to just search threw all the agencies in the US on policecarwebsite and just pick one I love and make it, simple as that. I wouldn't even release it or use it, I just made it for personal pleasure :)
