My Police car-lights/sirens don't work

Featured Replies

I recently acquired the 2010 CVPI - LCPD 2x.rar mod and the PACK-LCPD-V1.1L-AC.rar mod, both of which add the cars and their textures but the lights wont work. I can hear them I just can't see them.

Here's a picture; It's sort as if the sirens are stuck

This is how it looks in the OpenIV Model Viewer:

That model, like many, is ELS enabled. Which means you need Emergency Lighting System for the lights to work.

Since that model has a red/blue lightbar, you will need to edit the "default_config" file in the ELS folder to this:

[ ENV_LIGHT_COLORS ]
Extra_1 = red
Extra_2 = red
Extra_3 = blue
Extra_4 = blue
Extra_5 = white
Extra_6 = white
Extra_7 = amber
Extra_8 = amber
Extra_9 = amber

Also too add on to sharp's comment, make sure in els.ini you have "police" or whatever file on active. Just double check your whole els file to see if anything looks "dodgy"
