I'm trying to change my controls for ELS 7, cause every time i pull someone over and i try to put their name in the data base in my car, it changes the light pattern cause i have to hit like 'I' or 'U' due to the name of the person. And when i try changing the keys it won't change, it stays the same.

Close the els panel before you type in the names. I'm not sure about the problem with changing the key bindings, I would suggest reading the guide (pdf) that came with ELS v7.

I closed it, but it still changes it, i don't know what's going on with my game....

Mine used to do that even back when I was using ELS v.5, I gave up trying to change it

I binded my keys to change the patterns to the F-Keys
