Scripts folder containing LCPD:FR and other scripts

Featured Replies

Hey, I have LCPD:FR 0.91, Not sure what the issue is but when i put .net.dll scripts into my scripts folder which also contains the script for lcpdfr... anyway im trying to add another script into my scripts folder and when i load up the game it will just keep loading and never get me into the game so i have to back out.

I have tried to remove the lcpdfr script out of the scripts folder and put this other script into the folder to see if it would work but no luck, same thing happened as i said above.

If it matters the mod i am trying to add is (EPM) Extra Parts Moving Mod) it contains a net.dll file which is suppose to be added to the scripts folder, i do as it says and no luck there.

**Before all of you start saying wrong spot to post or we don't provide support for other mods or help, please understand that i am not just posting here to get this resolved, i am also posting on other sites (to get a 2nd opinion)

I posted this because lcpdfr and EPM are both within the scripts folder and i thought they had a relation to each ither that would cause one or another script fail to start or work.

Thanks,

Kate

Hi Kate,

First of all make sure you have installed the latest .NET scripthook.

Second, for EPM to work you have to have a modded car that has moving parts, like a car roof.

Here are the install instructions from the Readme file:

1] Install the vehicle mod that uses this script as per readme instructions

2] Place moveDoors.NET.dll and moveDoors.ini in /yourgamedir/scripts/

*2a] Open the moveDoors.ini with Notepad and add the ini lines the vehicle mod came with (ReadMe)

3] Run IV, get in the vehicle that utilizes this script, and with Num Lock ON, press key 8

4] A number will appear in the top left corner of your screen, -write it down-

A hash number can be positive and negative, in that case a wild -1234567 number appears, and it uses a minus!

So if the hash is negative, do not forget that minus! If the number is positive, there is no minus!**

5] Exit IV or ALT-TAB out, open MoveDoors.ini with Notepad, and edit in the number you wrote down as the ini's FIRST VALUE

6] Save ini, run IV, have fun

Hope I could be of any help.

Hey, thanks for the reply.

Im using this truck which is found on this site: http://www.gtapolicemods.com/index.php?/files/file/722-ssanchez10-tower-ladder-v10/

the file it came with has already contained a movedoors.ini that was already filled in, the readme which was also contained into the file was not to great with the steps because i followed them and it is not working for me, so maybe you can or anyone who views this topic to download the file and see if you can figure it out, also the file contains 2 typed of scripts, Without Collision (Ladder Turns) & & & With Collision (doesnt turn)

im using the script in folder thats without collision.

Thanks,

Kate

EPM and ELS won't work together

Ok thanks, that would make sense.

Do you think it would work if i took out ELS and put in ELM(Emergency Light Mod)?

Derp,

NVM haha.

ELS should work with EPM. However, using both EPM,ELS and LCPDFR can cause trouble since some of the script files are the same.

My advice would be to try the non-ELS model with EPM or just don't use EPM.

GPM is only advicing to don't use EPM and ELS at the same time

Model Is ELS Enabled, Also Has Non-ELS Lights

Model is EPM Enabled, Works Without EPM
