He was in service for 20 years, and he was also a sergeant in the air force during Vietnam.

That is wicked, my grandfather was also a sergeant in the Air Force during Vietnam and was also a cop for almost 30 years. Different State though.

only thing my Grandfather did was he had one of the largest Sugar can farms about 60 or years ago he sold it when my dad was in his teens though

Nope it was bought out for city zoning, which is way my granddad had to sell it

I don't remember off the top of my head. I know I have his discharge papers somewhere in my house. But I want to say he was 53rd or 56th Airborne Medics. He was a Medic and he got his draft papers 3 days after he depolyed to Vietnam.

That's really cool family history you guys have. My Great-Grandfather was a Field Medic for the Anzacs from World War II. He received many medals, I would try and find a picture but the medals are at my grandparents house in Canberra.
