I was playing gta iv, when I walked out of my bedroom and went to go down the steps it froze and said fatal error out of video memory please reboot you system and I also noticed it wouldn't let me use lcpdfr!!!! whats going on? someone please help!

I get that error when i have some high quality car models in. My graphics are bad and it can't handle it. Try installing another car.

what do I do about the lcpdfr not working it wont work after I press alt-p

make sure everything is installed correctly. and have everything updated

I got this for the first time tonight. I fixed it by going to my search bar typing "%appdata%" (yes with the percentage) It will take you to a folder called Roaming, Get out of the roaming folder and into the AppData folder (just click on it in the search bar), Click on local, Find Rockstar Games, Click on GTA IV and delte the settings folder.

 

It fixed the problem for me.
