Replacing hats / Uniforms

Featured Replies

So, I downloaded a new uniform and a hat for my trooper, and I've been trying to replace them with the new ones.

The thing is, in SparkIV, I don't know were the file is to replace the uniform and the hat.

If someone could give me the location of the file, that would be great.

I'd recommend using OpenIV its a better program. 1. Open OpenIV 2. Choose your version of GTA IV 3. Click on "models" then click on "cdimages" 4. To install the PED model select "componentpeds.img" 5. Click "File" (at the top) and select "edit mode", select "yes" 7. At the top select the green "+" symbol (Add new file) 6. Find the m_y_strooper files included in the file you downloaded and select all three files, click "open" 8. Now scroll down and find "m_y_strooper.wdd" (At the very bottom) double click it and check to make sure that the mod installed, Once in the viewer click the appropriate boxes to see the uppr and lowr model parts 9. If you do not see the new model try following the instructions again, once that's been successfully installed move on to the hat 10. So from the "componentpeds.img" screen click on the "back arrow" at the top and select "pedprops.img" 11. Again select the green "+" symbol, this time select the m_y_strooper_p files and select both files, click "open" 12. Again you want to find the "m_y_strooper_p.wdd" file you just added (At the very bottom) and double click it and check to ensure that it installed properly 13. You can now close OpenIV and start your game!
