1 - Don't use a pirated copy of the game,
2 - Install GTAIV patch 7 or EFLC patch 2,
3 - Untick "read only" on main game folder,
4 - Run LCPDFR installer as admin,
5 - Check that you have required components,
6 - Finish install and run the game as admin.

Thanks i now have it working but every time i click Alt+P the game crashes any help there?

And if you don't give details (mods, pc specs, etc...) it's hard to troubleshoot...

It encountered a problem and had to close so... I don't know what to do...

 

As I said, give details. Game path for example.

darth i got it to work but now when ever i sprint or try to select a police uniform or car it just crashes, do you think you could help me with that?

Read posts above... pc specs, mods installed, game path, steps you did while installing the mod, etc... anything that could help us to troubleshoot.

wtf ? I think you messed things a bit (or a lot). Can you provide screenshot of game folder ? All the content.

All i did was goto download and installed it that is all i installed

 

Read my edit and do what I said... and you've installed more things than LCPDFR.

i installed those because i was watching vid's and those were somethings that i need apperantly, Btw if this is any use i am on a windows XP

Ok I was right, you messed up ^^

 

The game folder, where you install mods, is in C:Program FilesRockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IV

It's not the same folder where you have user datas.

 

And about "archives", rar files, you have to extract them... I think you'll have a lot to learn.

Look at tutorials section of the website, I can't explain everything from A to Z including the basics of how to use a computer ^^

Don't worry you'll manage to get it working, you just need to learn how-to. You lack of several basic knowledges, but it can be solved.

I don't know how old you are, but if you are really young, it'll be easy. If you are a grandpa soon, it will be more difficult, but not impossible :D
