GTA 4 won't load online game

Featured Replies

Hey, i've been trying to play online MP on GTA 4 but everytime i try to create a game or join it, it gets stuck at the loading screen, no matter how long i wait for it to load it stays on the screen. Anyone have any clue to why it does this? I log into social club, and xbox live.

Mods i have installed:

LCPD:FR

ELS7

Various character and vehicle skins.

You try remove mods and see if that works?

I re-installed it, i put in a few mods like LCPD:FR, ELS, and some weapon, car, and character skins. It worked. But if i install  the trainer it freezes again, though not sure if it would be the trainer causing it.

do you have the updated version of trainer

Everything runs fine on singleplayer, mods and the trainer, but when i try to create or join a MP game (freeplay) it freezes at the loading screen.

I don't play online, but I think I read somewhere that you must play in "free mode" if you have a trainer because GFWL detects it as a cheat tool.

I'm not sure about that though, so I can't guarantee ^^ but it doesn't cost to try.

Like custom match "free mode" or Party Mode? Cause thats what i do when i try to join a game, i go to free mode under custom game.
