I need help with the template of the new expedition by Dhruv. I use GIMP 2 and when I load the template, I createw a new layer like normal but then when I try to change the opacity so I can see the template behind it, it doesnt work it goes from white to just template. I know this probably doesnt make any sense. I dont know how to word it. 

Also when I try to put a color on the template it shows up as a grey line. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe it's not that, but as I don't really understand what you mean, as said MichaelV, it doesn't cost to try :

check that your image is not indexed, it must be on RVB. Look at this link : http://docs.gimp.org/en/gimp-tutorial-quickie-change-mode.html

 

I had quite the same problem when I was learning GIMP some years ago, so maybe that's what you're talking about. Maybe not lol.

 

EDIT : not RVB, sorry, I meant RGB, V is for "vert", "green" in french -_-'
