BIGGEST REQUEST ON LCPDFR!

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, I'm Kurt, and since nobody is helping me with my support posts, I thought I would interest you "Skilled" guys and what not, that do everything perfectly, can help me out with a request.

Basically, I cannot properly do all the things I want to do without screwing something small up. I'm requesting "YOU" the skilled ones, to make a video or a big reply to this, (or inbox me) every single step into downloading, LCPDFR, ELS, etc. I've deleted every single file that I have downloaded, and at the moment, re-installing GTA IV from Steam.

ALL LINKS WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATED! <3

**The things I KNOW how to do**

1. Download GTA IV

2. Download LCPDFR 0.95

3. Vehicles

Everything else, I don't want to screw up on. I would like for someone to show me every single step into downloading all the other necessary components. Such as .NET Script-hooks, ASI loader, simple native trainer, and everything needed to play LCPDFR perfectly. (Best as possible)

If I think of anything else, I will edit this, but I would do anything to get to actually play this game the way I want to play it.. Haven't been able to play it for months because SOMETHING IS ALWAYS MESSED UP.

P.S - The tutorial video that is pinned, no longer works.. When are you going to notice that guys?

--All of this can be about 10 minutes, that's all I need, please. And I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like this. So many people have little issues, that nobody is helping on. So, when someone makes a big RECENT, UPDATED, reply, instead of a tutorial from 2011, it would be very great, for all of us/ the community.

EDIT: I think I might just give up, I re-installed GTA IV and all of the mods, watch a whole tutorial on it, and the trainer is still frozen, and when I get into a vehicle the doors don't spazz out like the actual mod does... and some of the lights are frozen on and only the sirens work.

Make sure you are using a vehicle supporting your version of Els, Also make sure your scripts and mods you use are compatible with eachother, and if this doesn't work, Who knows! it might be a actual pc problem, Do you have a problem with any other game?

Good Luck,

Also go back to basics, and don't download third party asi loaders, if your mods need them, they will be included or given a link to in your mod download file, PLEASE read your readme files :)

Any other questions? or query's?

It's quite simple to figure out. All scripts come with a readme.txt that explains how to add, and the simple rule is scripts that end with .net.dll go in to your scripts folder, and scripts that end with .asi go in to the main GTA IV folder where the LaunchGTAIV.exe is.

LCPD:FR is a self-installer and I would recommend that you use the dsound.dll that comes with LCPD:FR for your asi/script loader.

As for scripts, you will require a version of scripthookdotnet.dll that you can download the most recent version from: http://www.hazardx.com/details.php?file=83

scripthook is included with LCPD:FR but it's an older version and a bunch of coders including myself are now using the latest.

For car mods I prefer to use SparkIV, but most people find it hard to use, where as the alternative OpenIV I find too complicated, with SparkIV basically just navigate to the vehicles.img double click it to open it, then import the cars that you want in there (remember to make them the right names first).

There is an extra step to add additional skins, I won't cover that right now, but if you need to know I will help you.
