ELS Surrounding lights are wrong

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

First of all, sorry for my English, as a Dutch citizen English isn't my specialty.

I got a problem with my ELS V7.0. It works fine, but the surrounding lights are wrong. When my car has blue lights the light reflecting on buildings and so on is red :(

Of course I searched the internet and I found this:

[ POLICE ]

Active = 1
Halogen_Only = 0
Color_Light1L = 0
Color_Light2L = 0
Color_Light3R = 2
Color_Light4R = 0
Color_Light7L = 3
Color_Light8C = 3
Color_Light9R = 3
Offst_SLights = 0

and so on.

But I dont have that file where it should be :( In the ELS.ini (Where everyone says it should be) I got this:

[AMBULANCE ]

Status = on
File = default_config

[ FBI ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ FIRETRUCK ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ NOOSE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ NSTOCKADE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLICE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLICE2 ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLICE3 ] // EFLC
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLICE4 ] // EFLC
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLICEB ] // EFLC
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLPATRIOT ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ PSTOCKADE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

I checked every file of the ELS Pack, I even re-installed it..
Please please help, any suggestions would be helpfull!!

your sincerely,

Joeri

In the ELS folder edit the colour in the .ini, it's found at the end of it.

Yes I know, but what you see on my first topic is the end of the ELS.ini? ;) thanks for your help ;)

YES!! I found it allready, thanks. I watched in the Default_Config and changed these:

[ ENV_LIGHT_COLORS ]
Extra_1 = red
Extra_2 = red
Extra_3 = blue     <---
Extra_4 = blue     <---
Extra_5 = white
Extra_6 = white
Extra_7 = amber
Extra_8 = amber
Extra_9 = amber

THANK YOU!!!!! :D

K, btw I suggest you to make multiple copies of that file & rename it to something like pol, pol2, noose, fbi, polp, pstock, etc.. So you have more control over each single veicle :)   (Don't forget to replace the config also in the main ELS.ini)

If you want my attention, quote me.

Okay thanks, I was thinking about that allready. Do you mean this:

[ AMBULANCE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ FBI ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ FIRETRUCK ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ NOOSE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ NSTOCKADE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLICE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLICE2 ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLICE3 ] // EFLC
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLICE4 ] // EFLC
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLICEB ] // EFLC
Status = on
File = default_config

[ POLPATRIOT ]
Status = on
File = default_config

[ PSTOCKADE ]
Status = on
File = default_config

And then change each Default_config to for example pol2_config??
