Map mods crashing mah game!

Featured Replies

Recently I have tried installing a map mod for GTA IV, (Countryside Mountains V to be exact), but after doing everything Im supposed to do (this is not my first time) I fire up the game it it crashes after the loading screens. I tried installing other maps but the same thing keeps happening.

What is going on? Is there anyway around this problem?

** I have added cars installed and Im not sure if that might be the cause since it uses the gta.dat and the images.txt

Are you sure that your computer is able to handle it? These kind of mods are very demanding to the game and some computer simply cannot cope with them.
